Embroidery Service

Embroidery is the technique of stitching a design on a garment, normally a crest or company logo, which is produced on one of our high tech computerised embroidery machines.

We offer a bespoke embroidery service, ideal for embroidered workwear, uniforms, sportswear, corporate and promotional clothing.  Embroidery is the most popular branding method among our customers because as it provides a long-lasting hi quality finish.

Embroidery requires a one off set up which we can usually make from most formats (.png/.jpeg/.pdf/.ai) and even a picture of existing garment if that is all you have to hand.

Embroidery is suitable for the majority of products but some logos with smaller text can be difficult to replicate. Likewise logos with graduated colour are also hard to achieve with this process. For any recommendations on your logo email info@yourcustomclothing.com with any questions you may have and we’ll be happy to help.

All logos are proofed prior to production. This design proof shows how the logo will look when it is embroidered and will be sent to you for approval.

The most traditional method of printing garments. Screen printing is great for detailed logos and designs, offering a long-lasting design that can be Pantone colour matched for precision.  Screen printing can offer the best value option for large volume runs with the same design. Screen printing requires a screen set up per colour and has a minimum order of 15 units per run. Vectorised artwork is required for this method.

Vinyl transfers has no minimum order or set up charge making this the most cost effective way of printing text or less complex designs typically one or two colours in smaller quantities. Popular with sportswear sponsor prints and numbers on the back of jerseys. Vinyl transfer is suitable for the majority of garments (except fleece and wool) we recommend this for Hi-Viz garments. Vectorised artwork is required for this process in either .eps .pdf .ai files. If vectorised artwork cannot be provided then a artwork fee may be required.

Digital Transfer Printing

A similar process to vinyl transfer, this process also has no minimum order or set up charge and is ideal for full colour images or pictures in smaller quantities. Digital transfer is suitable for the majority of garments (except fleece and wool). Vectorised artwork or high res .png’s are required for this process, if correct artwork cannot be provided then an additional artwork fee may be required.

Sublimation Printing

Sublimation printing is a process where the ink embeds into the fabric under heat. Garments must have a high polyester quantity and be light in colour to allow the ink to absorb correctly. This method is usually used in sportswear garments i.e. running vests. There is no minimum order or restrict on number of colours used in this method. Vectorised artwork or high res .png’s are required for this process, if correct artwork cannot be provided then an additional artwork fee may be required.
